Training while they sleep. Mantra no.1 of Doing it Her Way!

So as I am talking my walk at Westlake High I meet this young lady who was so fast I didn’t even get her name.She ran the distance of this track effortlessly several times. We had a brief convo and she said that she was traing for her upcoming year at Savannah State. Mind you it’s is mid day and not to mention summer break and she is out here getting it done! While they sleep she trains. I like to commend younger people who are ambitious because it seems as if the flame of determination and dreams has dimmed! Good luck to all the Freshman undergrad students.

I am so excited to announce the project that I have been working on for a while. It was actually a dream that turned into a thought.  I wanted to start a magazine because I enjoy putting great information in the hands of great people. Being a Salon owner and Hairstylist for over a decade my clients have trusted and valued my opinion when it comes to the new restaurants, events, and of course hair expertise.

The birth of Nekesa Natural Radiance (NNR) magazine was born  June  8, 2012. The construction of this project  took so much energy and so much time. It was truly a labor of love. I created everything from the layout to some of the photography.Enjoy your reading and let me know what you think.
