Back to School

This is the first time in years that I am not taking classes and enrolled in classes while my kids start their new school year off. Since I graduated in May I have been taking some time out this summer to relax. My clients don’t think so because during my “time to relax” I have opened another hair salon. It did take some of my time, however this location was near and dear to my heart. It is located on the campus of the Atlanta University Center on James P. Brawley Drive. It is directly on the same street at Woodruff Library, in back of Clark Atlanta University. As a graduate of Spelman I have learned that education and scholar work is an essential standard of my Spelman sisters, however after the studying comes the well deserved “me time” consisting hair, nail and skin services. This salon location has the same motto as the first Nekesa’s Natural Radiance which is the art of natural hair care infused withthe ultimate customer service. We enhance your life one strand at a time. Nekesa’s Natural Radiance University Beauty Salon is our “baby sister salon” offering professional hair care services and affordable prices for college students and staff. My staff and I are so excited to meet the new students and address their beauty needs. Students are leaders in training who are learning all the skills necessary for their future, who says hair care, proper styling, and makeup are not a part of those skills. If you are in the AUC area come experience the #NNRUnivbeauty salon . We are dedicated to providing the best professional haircare in natural hair care, hair weaving, loc grooming, braids, extensions, makeup, classes, seminars, and of course beauty empowerment.
